Fiftyninth Month of Luna Sent

As she enters her fiftyninth month on Planet Earth, our Moon Child is keeping herself busy with gym lessons on Tuesdays, ballet classes on Wednesdays, and swimming lessons on Fridays. Though she looks rather serious during her gym class, she really is having fun (row below). Indeed, Luna's school teachers comment on Luna being such a dreamer, but at the same time being such a happy girl.
Also during her ballet class Luna has her "philosophical moments" (row above, left, and right). In between, she finds time to show off her modeling skills with her friend Manon (row above, right).
Poor Opa Ben! Lior and Luna seem to think that their grandfather is playground equipment (row below). To get them off his back, Opa built a play structure in Luna and Lior's back yard (pictures coming soon)!
After having put on their pyjamas, Luna and Lior get to watch (part of) a DVD, have a little bit to drink, and eat a small snack before heading to bed (row below). They are sooo huggable in their flannel jammies!
Yeay, the fair is back in town! This means lots and lots of rides on the merry-go-round (left).
Unfortunately for mom, she is too big for rides such as the boats and the cars. Fortunately, Luna and Lior get to go together (right).
Mom gets to join in the fun again with the motor cycles (left). Fortunately for her, Lior is too small to go by himself.
The airplanes are a little bit of a challenge for Lior, for he has to push the steering wheel to go up and down. Luna is happy to show him the ropes (right).
And when Luna thinks the roller coaster is ho-hum (far left), Lior figures he is big enough to give the roller coaster a try as well (middle left).
Poor Lior, the roller coaster turned out to be a little more scary than he had expected (middle right). Meanwhile, his sister and mom cannot seem to get enough of the fair (far right).
So when Luna goes on yet another ride (far left), Lior decides to take a gambling break (middle left).
Our young man (left) and young lady (right) are preparing for a career playing soccer for the Netherlands. One has to start slowly, so they play with balloons for now (row above, middle).
While Luna does her "Oma Alie imitation" with Oma Alie's reading glasses (left), Lior does his "Opa Tano imitation" with Opa Tano's reading glasses (right).
With the lovely fall colors, a walk in the woods is almost compulsory (row above, left, and right). However, Luna and Lior are much more interested in hunting for acorns and chestnuts!
Luna loooves puzzle magazines. With a little occasional help, she patiently makes it through the entire magazine (row below).
A visit with Opa Ben and Oma Alie is not complete without spending some quality time on Opa Ben's lap (far right) and eating a bag of chips before going to bed. Doesn't Lior look lovely in Luna's old jammies (middle right)? Fortunately, he does not have to wear her hand-me-downs during the day!
Thanks to Opa Ben and Ome John, the Sent back yard now has a wonderful play structure, with a sand box (far left), a slide (middle left), and ....
... two swings (right). Weather permitting, Luna and Lior spend lots of playtime in the back yard.

Hip, Hip, Hurray!
Fiftynine Months Old!

A lady of fiftynine months is old enough to help her grandmother make dinner (left). And she loves to be grandma's little helper. Now if only she would enjoy eating the food that she prepares! Luna is not the greatest eater, but is learning to enjoy all kinds of food.
