Thirtyfourth Month of Luna Sent

As she enters her thirtyfourth month on Planet Earth, Luna participates in the play day for the children in her street (row above, left and right). When Esther-Mirjam sees Luna sitting with the other children (row above, middle), she feels that her daughter has entered a new phase with further independence. Yet, when Luna is not quite sure about how to play one of the games (top left), mom comes over to help (bottom left). Luna's height is measured to determine from which distance she can throw rings (top right). And Luna seems to have overcome her dislike of inflatable bouncers (bottom right).
At the tender age of two years, Luna is already a cover girl (right)! This is because the university magazine includes an interview with her mom. While not present when the interview is conducted, Luna makes sure to be there for the photo shoot.
Should you be interested, you can find the interview in Vox Magazine online. While the text is in Dutch, the pictures speak for themselves!
Esther-Mirjam has been remiss in not having introduced Luna to McDonald's before (row above, left and right). While Luna enjoys the food (row above, middle) and drinks (right) and has fun in the play section (left), the visit does not seem to leave a lasting impression on her. Thank goodness!
Opa Ben and Oma Alie hang out with Luna on Tuesdays. Opa and Luna help mama by making a trip to the pet food store to buy straw and fibre for Pleun the rabbit (row below, left). After this they are ready for a short nap on the couch (row below, middle). With renewed energy, they engage in fun arts and crafts activities (row below, right). One wonders who has the most fun, Luna or Opa Ben!
Esther-Mirjam is willing to take bets as to how many hearts beautiful Luna is going to break when she turns into a gorgeous young woman (left and right). For now, she has stolen her mom's heart!
Luna visits Kernie's Familienpark, formerly known as Kernwasser Wunderland, an amusement park just across the border with Germany, with Opa Tano and Oma Naatje (row below, middle). She may start thinking that life is a giant amusement park! Thanks to gym for toddlers, Luna is not scared about climbing up things (row below, left). One of the great things about the amusement park is that french fries and drinks are included in the admission fee (row below, right).
Little Luna has completely adjusted to having Lior as her brother (row above, left, and right). However, she thinks that he will turn into a sister! When Esther-Mirjam was combing Luna's hair and joked that she would also put a bow in Lior's hair, Luna replied: "That is not possible now. However, you can do this when Lior becomes a girl!"
When the fair comes to Nijmegen (row above, middle), Opa Ben and Oma Alie come along and take pictures (row above, left). One wonders who enjoys the fair more, Luna or Esther-Mirjam (row above, right). When Luna goes in the merry-go-round (right), her brother waits patiently (left).
There is never a dull moment for Luna, for after the fair, she goes for a trip on the pancake boat (row above, middle), during which she makes a drawing (row above, left) and eats pancakes (row above, right). You can tell by their funny faces that mom and daughter are related (left). As far as Luna is concerned, the best thing about the trip is the ball pit (right).
Now that Lior gets to eat fruit and vegetables, the same is true for Luna's baby (left). Life is busy for a young lady with a baby doll!
When Luna's baby goes to sleep, Luna joins (middle right). As a reward for her wonderful mothering skills, she gets to eat some chips with Opa Ben (far right).
Thanks to Opa Tano (far left), Luna can now swing in her own back yard (middle left). Indeed, Luna is a lucky lady with the four wonderful grandparents she has! And so is her mom!
During the entire month of October admission to the Koningin Julianatoren amusement park (row above, middle) is free for grandparents, so Oma Alie (top left) and Opa Ben (bottom left) take Luna there. Nothing scares our Moon Toddler, not even riding a horse (row above, left) or driving a car by herself (row above, right). After all this fun, it is time for a bath at Oma Alie and Opa Ben's (top right) and some relaxation on Oma Alie's chair (bottom right).
Esther-Mirjam enjoys the fair so much that she drags Luna along once more (row below, left). One wonders who enjoys this more, mom or Luna (row below, middle). Indeed, after having been "forced" to go on lots of rides, Luna falls asleep in the bicycle trailer on the way home (row below, right). Now it is time for Lior to keep a watchful eye out for his big sister!
Oma Alie continues to come over every Thursday to go swimming with her grandchildren. The latter, in return, do their best to offer her some entertainment (row below, left). Luna is now big enough to walk through the swimming pool by herself (row below, middle and right).
When the Smies family has a reunion, the Sent clan is also present, of course. While Lior hangs out inside with Tante Astrid (row below, left) and Ome Albert (row below, right), his sister goes down the slide, and goes down the slide, and ... (row below, middle).

Hip, Hip, Hurray!
Thirtyfour months old!

Only two more months to go and our Moon Toddler will turn three. And she is turning into such a beautiful young lady along the way (row below, left and right). The poor child got her finger caught when she went to Tivoli, yet another amusement park, with Opa Tano a few days before (row below, middle).
